It is thanks to the Music and Dance scheme that I was able to study at the Purcell School which allowed me to pursue my career in music and eventually lead to my current life as a concert pianist.
My parents never even dreamt of being able to cover my studies in the UK, as it was always totally unimaginable for most people from Kazakhstan.
I also met lifelong friends from different parts of the world at Purcell who continue to support me, so my memories of the school remain ever present.
