It’s almost certain you will have heard performances by alumni of The Purcell School. We have been providing talented young musicians with a gold-standard musical education since 1962. Renowned composers, BBC Young Musician of the Year winners, Grammy Award winners, internationally-acclaimed soloists and members of major orchestras and ensembles have all passed through our practice rooms.

Our aim is to provide the next generation of musicians, of remarkable ability and promise from all backgrounds, with the best possible teaching and environment in which to fulfil their potential. We deliver the very highest world-class musical instruction and hold the UNESCO Mozart Gold Medal in recognition of the School's unique contribution to music, education and international culture.

Our greatest challenge is financial. Without the support of our donors we simply would not be able to offer access to the School for the many musically gifted young people who audition, but whose families cannot afford the fees.
